“We offer classes for kids through adults of all levels. Lessons focus on all aspects of capoeira: strength, flexibility, movement, endurance, coordination, vocal and instrumental skills, cultural awareness, confidence, teamwork, and community.”

MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS 6:00–7:30 PM
TUITION
You can drop-in to try a capoeira class or enroll in monthly classes. The monthly pricing includes 2 classes per week.
Drop-in class: $25
Month-to-month plan: $120 per month (cancel any time with 30 days notice)
6-month plan: $95 per month
We recommend trying capoeira for at least 6 months to get the basics down.
Billing company, Member Solutions, handles billing for students on a monthly payment plan. For drop-in payments, you can book on Exploring Not Boring, or we take cash or Venmo (@jamaika-Romualdo).
INSTRUCTORS
Mestre Jamaika teaches the majority of the classes along with Salt Lake Capoeira instructors who assist under his direction.

LOCATION
Our capoeira lessons take place at the SLC Arts Hub west of the Gateway in Salt Lake City. When the weather is warm (May–October), we hold our capoeira classes outside in the park, under the sun, and with the grass between our toes.

SLC Arts Hub is located west of the Gateway. Ample parking is available. The SLC Arts Hub is nearest to the Old Greek Town Trax station.

From spring through fall, we hold lessons in the park when weather and air conditions permit. During this time, check our Instagram or Facebook stories, the Salt Lake Capoeira Whatsapp group, or email saltlakecapoeira@gmail.com to find out if class will be held at the park or the Alliance Theater.
